The Separation of Powers in Portugal, in particular semipresidentialism

This article reflects on the Portuguese regime of semi-presidentialism, addressing the separation and interdependence of powers in general, government responsibilities, the system for monitoring constitutionality in Portugal. It also addresses the concrete inspection of constitutionality and the hallmark of presidential mandates, as well as the appreciation of Portuguese semi-presidentialism in the light of the political veto of the President of the Republic.
