About the Journal

The Revista Ibérica do Direito (RID) is the scientific periodical of the Ibero-American Institute of Legal Studies (IBEROJUR), based in the city of Porto, Portugal.

Its mission is to promote the dissemination of legal knowledge across the Ibero-American region, covering the diverse fields of Public and Private Law. The journal prioritizes studies that emphasize Ibero-American comparative law, as well as research originating from countries in Latin America, Spain, and Portugal, fostering transnational legal dialogue and academic exchange among these jurisdictions.

By fostering dialogue among different legal systems, RID reaffirms its commitment to comparative legal research and to the dissemination of scientific legal knowledge across the Ibero-American and European legal communities.
